'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Scannell sticks with Palace

The Eagles highly-rated winger Sean Scannell has agreed a long-term contract with the club.

Neil Warnock told the South London Press

'This morning we are finalising a deal with Sean to commit himself for the next three or four years.

'We can't expect too much of him or the other young lads who came into the side last year but Sean's trained hard in pre-season and helped turn last season around.

'I expect him to have a big contribution and to get in the Republic squad was a tremendous boost for him.'
