Warnock looks at Palace for next season

Palace manager Neil Warnock has said it may be time to look to next season if the Palace fail to beat Barnsley and Reading this week.

Palace are 10 points off the play-offs before tonight's trip to Barnsley and Warnock admitted that if Palace failed to beat Barnsley and Reading, then any hopes of promotion would be over, he said to the Croydon Guardian: 'It's frustrating really,'We have to win most games now to have any chance of making the play-offs and we have to win these two games I would say.

'If we don't then we just start looking to next season.'

The Eagles cause has not been helped by injuries to defenders Claude Davis and Matt Lawrence, while Alan Lee has been dropped from the squad following a loss in form.

'Lee had a bit of a calf injury but he is fit now,' he said.

'At the moment I am just going with different people.

'Matt hurt his hamstring and is about a week away, he has just started some light work.'

Yeah think you're right bluemooner. I have to be honest, I dont think he's the man Palace need. Or maybe thats just because I cant stand the bloke, if he thinks he should still be a premiership manager why hasn't he applied for any of the jobs in the premier league since leaving Utd? It doesnt' say much for what he thinks of Palace, sounds like he'd rather be somewhere else, and with a load of cash in his pocket!
