Palace stalemate with 10 man Reading

Crystal Palace had to settle for a goalless draw at Selhurst Park despite dominating ten-man Reading for the majority of the match.

Victor Moses was a constant threat to the Royals defence and it was for two reckless tackles on Moses that saw Liam Rosenior branded a red card midway through the second half.

Chances were few and far between and Reading will feel done up like a kipper not to have been awarded a penalty in the first half when Jose Fonte appeared to trip Dave Kitson in the box.

It was all Palace after the break but despite their best efforts they failed to break down a poor Reading side and hardley tested Hahnemann in the Reading goal.

If ever you were going to push for one of those play off spots then you needed three points from this game. Mid table for you guys me thinks.

There is no point in having all the ball in the second half if you can't convert it into goals.
