Speroni may leave Palace for Premier

JULIAN Speroni has admitted it would be hard to resist Premier League interest this summer.

The Palace stopper says he is very happy at Selhurst Park - but knows that Premier football would boost his hopes of breaking into the Argentine national squad.

Speroni told the Croydon Advertiser: "My ideal future is to be promoted with Palace - I`ve been here five years now and I would love to stay. But I`m desperate to get that promotion because it would probably open the door in terms of recognition for the national team.

"I can`t lie - if an opportunity arose for me I would have to see the situation. And if it was good I would have to take it. But I`m not very concerned about that - I know people are talking about different clubs watching me but I`m not worried about it.'
