Palace to keep their Jules
Crystal Palace will not sell Julian Speroni this summer after the goalkeeper won the Palace player of the year award for the second year in a row.
The Argentine, 30 today, becomes only the third Palace player to win the award in successive season following on from Paul Hinshelwood in 1980 and 1981 and Andy Johnson in 2004 and 2005.
Warnock does not see his number one going anywhere,Neil told the Croydon Guardian.
'He is under contract for another two years,' he said.
'I think he will stay with us and only go to the Premiership if we get there. We value him more than any other club anyway.'
'It doesn't surprise me at all that he got voted player of the season,' said Warnock.
'He has had another really good season.
