Hartlepool sign keeper Flinders

League One side Hartlepool have signed goalkeeper Scott Flinders, following his release by Crystal Palace.

The 23-year-old last played for Palace in January 2008 but featured nine times last season during a loan spell at Scottish Premier League side Falkirk.

He started his career at Barnsley and has also had loan spells at Gillingham, Brighton, Yeovil and Blackpool.

Flinders is Pools' only experienced goalkeeper, following the release of both Arran Lee-Barrett and Jan Budtz
