2 from 3 for Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are in discussions with three out of contract players: Aki Riihilahti, Mikele Leigertwood and Wayne Andrews. All have served the club with honest endeavour, to varying degrees of success during their time at Selhurst Park.

It is my belief that the club should do all they can to retain the services of two of the aforementioned players. While not wishing to denigrate the ability and efforts of Wayne Andrews he has reached a stage in his career where he deserves first team football. Crystal Palace is perhaps not that place, but there can be few players to have shown more determination in the ‘red and blue’ in recent years.

53% of former Palace players score at least one goal on their return to Selhurst Park.

Would it not be best to wait until you have a manager installed until you look at the staff needed for next year?
