Tykes want Palace Lee
Neil Warnock says he doesn`t expect Alan Lee to join Norwich - and has revealed Barnsley have registered an interest in the out-of-favour front man.
The Canaries have confirmed they have held talks with the Eagles about the 30-year-old who spent the end of last season on loan at Carrow Road.
Warnock told The South London Press : "We`re a long way short of doing a deal - I can`t see a move to Norwich coming off. Firstly the fee is nowhere near what we value him at and their wage offer is nowhere near what Alan is getting.
"Alan wants to go there but he and his agent are not daft - if Norwich can`t come up with the goods they will have to look at other options. We have had an offer from Barnsley."
