Clarets are inspiration for Palace

SHAUN Derry is hoping that Crystal Palace can be alot like Burnley were last term, and suprise everyone by winning the Play Offs.

Derry told the SLP: "I`m not going to be a liar and say we`ve got a huge squad because we haven`t - and it would be great to have a few more new faces. But sometimes the financial situation restricts you to two or three additions and that is what has happened to us this year.

"You`ve got to take heart from what Burnley did - they only used 18 or 19 first-team players. With a bit of luck with injuries and suspensions you can go on a run.'
