'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hart demands reaction

Crystal Palace manager Paul Hart has demanded a reaction from his side when they take on Derby County at Pride Park on Saturday.

The Eagles manager witnessed his side go down 2-0 at the hands of London rivals Queens Park Rangers last time out.

The defeat leaves Palace in 21st in the Championship standings, just one point above the drop zone.

But with the Owls not playing until Sunday, when they take on rivals Sheffield United in the Steel City derby, Hart's side have a chance to distance themselves from the drop zone.

'It is another big game, they all are at this stage of the season for us,' he told Sport Croydon.

'But from what I have seen in training this week the players look ready to put last weekend's performance behind them. They are a good group and I'm sure they will respond in a positive way,' he added.

Striker Alan Lee will miss the trip with a groin strain and Calvin Andrew will face a late fitness test following a clash of heads with QPR defender Damion Stewart.
