Speroni takes top acclaim at annual awards night

Julian Speroni took the Crystal Palace Player of the Year award at the clubs awards ceremony on Saturday.

A giant marquee was set up on the pitch and Speroni took the accolade for the third consecutive year - the first player to do so in the clubs history.

Other awards were handed out to Nathaniel Clyne, Darren Ambrose and Jack Holland for Young Player of the Year, Goal of the Season and Scholar of the Year respectively.
