Obika in Palace loan

Jon Obika has joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan.

The Tottenham striker, 19, made two First Team appearances for Spurs in the 2008/09 season, also playing 90 minutes in their UEFA Cup second leg game against Shakhtar Donetsk at White Hart Lane having previously made his debut as a late substitute against NEC Nijmegan earlier in the competition.

Jon has played loan spells, twice with League One Yeovil Town, where he made a total of 35 appearances, scoring 11 goals, and with Millwall, who he helped to promotion to the Championship the end of last season, scoring twice in 12 substitute appearances.

Spurs have high hopes for him. Not ready yet, but if he can get regular football he will get you goals.
