Zebina to Palace

According to an Italian source Jonathan Zebina will sign for Palace either today or tomorrow.

the source said 'His contract with Juventus (until 2011)is set to be cancelled, the French defender will is 99% is certain he will be at Crystal Palace in the English Championship (our series B), the team that has just hired the former Juventus Edgar Davids'

Jonathan Zebina (born 19 July 1979 in Paris) is a French professional football player, currently playing for Juventus in the Italian Serie A. He plays as a right back and occasionally as a centre back, though he started out as a striker.

Club career
Zebina began his career with Cannes in the French Championnat National in 1996. He then moved to Cagliari in 1998, and on to AS Roma in 2000 in co-ownership deal, for 9.5 billion Italian lire,[1][2] where he won the Scudetto in 2001. Roma bought him outright in July 2001.[3] He came to Juventus with coach Fabio Capello at the start of the 2004-05 season.

Against AC Milan in December 2007, Zebina wore a misspelled uniform for Juventus. His name was spelled Z3BINA. The E was put on backwards and looked like a 3 due to the style of the font. Zebina now wears number 15 instead of number 5, following former captain Fabio Cannavaro's return to the club.

International career
Despite being a regular during his time at Roma and Juventus he has earned only one cap for France on 9 February 2005 in a 1-1 draw against Sweden. Zebina was in Jacques Santini plans, however after he left the national side Zebina was never called up for France again as he fell out of favor when new coach Raymond Domenech took over the team.
