Freedman Plans Tactical Defeat For Burnley

Dougie Freedman is playing his card close to his chest as we prepare to face Burnley, but he's got a game plan that he believes can secure us all 3 points.

Speaking to News Shopper the gaffer has said that Palace will be approaching the game in a certain way, but he's not going to tell anybody what that is.

Be a bit daft if he did really, wouldn't it.

'I'll approach the game in a way that I think we can win. I won't be letting anyone know before the game, but the players will be instructed what to do.'

Dougie knows Burnley will be no pushover given their form of late, but he remains convinced the Eagles will get one over on them because of our determination to drag ourselves away from the bottom.

He adds.

'They've been doing well, they've taken on board what we're after. I feel every game is winnable in this division so that's what we'll set out to do.'

After stalemate earlier in the season, it's highly unlikely we'll get another 0-0 this weekend. Our focus will be 3 points to lift us further away from the bottom, but Burnley certainly won't want to drop points in their challenge for the promotion places given they have a couple of games in hand on those above them.
