Freedman Insists Away Form Will Return

Ahead of the QPR clash, Dougie Freedman has told the press that although results away from home have not gone our way, he has been bouyed by the performances of the team.

'Our away form, as far as results go, has been disappointing but our performances I am very comfortable with.'

Freedman has made no secret of the fact that he's pleased with the effort and commitment in training and the team dust themselves off after every defeat and focus on the next match determined to put it right, which is all you can ask from players really.

He also again says that he's not looking at the other teams around us as he can't do anything to influence their games, so he'll keep focusing on what we can do in the games we have as that's the most sensible thing to do.

'All I can do is take this great bunch of lads and work away and that's what we're focussed on. It's going to be a tough couple of months, it's a tough league when you're scrapping for your lives, but the good thing is the boys are doing that.'

Freedman ends by saying that at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later, our away results will start matching the performances and then we'll start to climb the table and he believes, end the season in a far more comfortable position than we currently find ourselves in.
