Marrow Likely To Miss Out Again

Marrow Likely To Miss Out Again

Alex Marrow remains a major doubt for tomorrow's clash at QPR, but it's not believed he will require surgery.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser (popular today!) Freedman explained that every time Marrow seemed close to a full return the ankle flared up again, most recently this Monday which now means he is unlikely to be in contention tomorrow.

Despite the ongoing complications Freedman has ruled out the prospect of surgery to get him back quicker, but his long term career is more important than a quick fix now.

'Alex has been running but he broke down again on Monday. It's still sore and I would have to say he was unlikely for Saturday's game.'

Freedman says that those with medical knowledge have said the injury doesn't require surgery and he's perfectly happy with that, much preferring to allow the player time to rest and recuperate that way even though it means we go longer without his services.
