Eagles To Host Their Own Beer Festival

The club are going to hold a Crystal Palace Beer Festival on Saturday May 14th.

There will be a host of premium ales from around the country available on the day, as well as food and entertainment from 12pm until 9pm. The FA Cup Final will also be shown live at the event.

Duncan Sambrook, founder of Sambrook's Brewery will be sponsoring the event, and the idea has been borne out of the success of introducing real ale to Selhurst on match days.

Nino Raisys, the club's Catering Manager told Crystal Palace FC:

'This is the first time we have tried this sort of event, to my knowledge, it's the first at any football club. If the event is the success I think it will be, we will look towards making the Palace beer festival an annual event.'

Entry will be priced at £5 per person, and for those who want a momento of the beer festival's debut, anybody who books in advance will receive a special commemorative Crystal Palace beer glass.

To book tickets telephone 08712 00 00 71, email beerfestival@cpfc.co.uk or use the new online ticket service.

Very good idea isn't it and quite novel, I'm sure it'll go down a storm. I'm sure the club would welcome you both aswell :-)
