'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zaha & Williams Going Nowhere

After reports in the national press suggested that Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish was lining up a double swoop for the two players, Steve Parish admitted his surprise at the links.

Speaking to the Crydon Advertiser our co owner said:

'I have heard absolutely nothing about it, those players are going nowhere. If Liverpool really are interested, perhaps it would be better for them to pick up the phone and give us a call.'

Whether it's just lazy speculation given the season we've had or not, I somehow doubt Palace are going to be doing their negotiating in the press which seems all too common place in the Premiership thesedays.

Zaha has obviously caught a few people's eyes this season with his performances, but with Williams yet to make his debut, the rumours do seem to be those you just file in draw 13 after smiling politely and then hoping you could have the last 30 seconds of your life back.

Least that's what I'm doing with them.
