Vaughan's Future Is In His Hands

Vaughan's Future Is In His Hands

Steve Parish has revealed that the loan of James Vaughan does include a first refusal on the player if a pre agreed fee is matched.

But, ultimately it will come down to whether or not the player wants to stay at Selhurst with other clubs expressing an interest in his services.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Parish assured fans that the club would do everything in it's power to get Vaughan on a long term deal in the summer, but the choice will be Vaughan's.

'We've got an offer to purchase him at an agreed price already there and we will look to push that through, but the player will have to agree as well. Whatever happens in the future we'll have to wait and see but I'm just delighted he's ours for the time being.'

Confirming Dougie's earlier comments about Neil Danns, Parish also added that an offer has been made to him as the club want to keep him here, but that is another deal that will play itself out at the end of the season.
