Dougie's Decree: Much Improved Performance

Dougie's Decree: Much Improved Performance

Dougie Freedman has said that he hopes the Eagles will play as we did against Doncaster in our remaining games.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following our draw at Donny, Dougie was delighted with our improved performance and to him the players lost the pressure and tension that comes with where we are in the league, and played well without fear.

'I'm comfortable as long as we have that 3 point gap. The main thing in this division is not to get beat and we didn't. The pleasing thing today was we looked to play with no fear and we gave it a good go.'

Whilst Freedman was pleased with the performance, he also believes it was a fair result given the ebb and flow of the game that saw both teams have their moments.

'I felt it was a fair result, we started well but Doncaster came back into it.'

If we can keep picking up points in our remaining games, we should be more than comfortably safe, although it would be nice to pick up some extra wins and really open up a gap for confidence.
