'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gardner Praises Dougie's Organisational Skills

Anthony Gardner has said that he believes Palace's upturn in form and nigh on survival from relegation is simply down to the manager organising things better.

In quotes carried by Your Local Guardian Gardner states that he really believes it is that simple, and with that organisation Palace are now playing to their strengths.

'When I first came the organisation of things wasn't top, but since Dougie got the appointment it has been better and the commitment of the players has shone through as well. That's nice to see, a lot of character for the future of the club.'

With contract details to be dealt with, and of course the future's of our loanees, Gardner admits he has warned to the club in his time here and says that he will simply sit down with his agent in the summer and what will be, will be.

'In a sense I see myself as a Crystal Palace player, but I will sit down at the end of the season and see where my career takes me.'

I would imagine there are few fans who don't hope that's to Selhurst on a permanent basis.
