Gardner Wants To Extend Palace Stay

Gardner Wants To Extend Palace Stay

Anthony Gardner has confirmed he wants to stay at Selhurst next season.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Gardner confirmed that he would prefer to stay at Palace next season, and that he hopes a permanent deal can be arranged.

'I think it's fair to say I would like to be a Palace player next year, I feel like a Palace player now. I've enjoyed every minute of it, everyone has made me feel at home.'

With Palace free from relegation worries now, Freedman can begin the work of sorting out contracts and working out how he'd like to bring in along with those he may want to let go.

Gardner staying, if it all goes to plan, would be a big boost for next season given the understanding he's worked up with Paddy McCarthy.
