Speroni Dreaming Of A Play Off Push Next Season

Speroni Dreaming Of A Play Off Push Next Season

Julian Speroni believes the Eagles are set for great things under the management of Dougie Freedman, and he won't rule out a surprise promotion push next campaign because of it.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Speroni admits that this was another disappointing season for Palace, despite us maintaining our Championship status, but he thinks from what he's seen of Dougie so far that next season the fans will get the reward that we deserve.

'I think he's done a great job and I think there is a lot more to come. He has big ambitions and can achieve a lot more over the next few years.'

If we can start of brightly next season, given the players we have and the hope and potential of the youngsters coming through I don't see why we can't make a run on promotion.

Yes it's a long shot when you look at the past few years, but our home form this season was very good and we only let ourselves down away from Selhurst.

With a bit more balance in results, a few of those losses turned even into only draws and this season would've looked a lot more comfortable than it was.

If we can find that balance, who's to say what can happen.
