Murray Didn't Cost A Mint

Crystal Palace have officially announced the signing of former Brighton striker Glenn Murray.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Dougie Freedman said he was delighted with the capture of the striker on a 3 year deal, and believes he's going to have a major impact on our bid for a more successful season next campaign.

Murray was instrumental in Brighton's league success this campaign, bagging 22 goals in 50 games as they secured promotion, and if he can replicate that form for us, or close to it, we certainly could be laughing.

'Glenn is a player who I have been looking at for some time and fits the profile of the type of player that I want to add to the squad here ready for next season.'

Welcome to the club Glenn, I doubt I'm alone in looking forward to seeing how you fit in next season.
