18 year old striker Ibra Sekajja has put pen to paper on a two year professional deal at the Eagles.
Sekajja made a name for himself in our penultimate game of the season against Hull where he grabbed the goal that secured our Championship status, and Dougie has already said that he expects to see far more of Ibra next season as he continues to develop, so being rewarded with a new contract is hardly surprising.
Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Freedman said.
'I can remember when he was in my office and I told him that he would be one of the players who would be given a professinoal deal, there was a tear in his eye as my explanation was sinking in.'
It's certainly been a season for Sekajja to remember, as well as his goal against Hull, he also bagged 24 goals for Gary Issott's U18 side.
In other contract news, Jake Caprice has secured himself a one year deal, and so has Charlie Holness.
Well done boys!
