Dougie Freedman has said he is expecting to have to fight to keep some of our players at the club once life returns to normal after the holidays.
Speaking to the South London Press Freedman admitted he was expecting bids in for the likes of Nathaniel Clybne, Wilfried Zaha and Darren Ambrose - who has already been linked to QPR and Hull - but importantly for Palace fans, he admits he may have to entertain them if the price offered is right.
'I expect bids because these are good players and when that is the case you get people wanting to buy them.'
Dougie does add that the club have received no offers so far, but when a bid is made he is going to have to weigh up what he can achieve with the money offered to make the best choice for the club, and that could well mean the money becomes more important than the individual player.
