Ambrose May Leave Admits Parish

Ambrose May Leave Admits Parish

Steve Parish has admitted that the club will consider fair offers for Darren Ambrose and others who harbour desperate Premiership dreams.

Speaking to Talksport our co-owner was quite candid that the club would, in the right circumstances - such as shortness of contract, allow players to leave who wished to have a stab in the Premiership, but it would of course have to be a fair deal to the club in the process for them to show that goodwill.

'We know that players want to play in the Premier League and Darren is no different, he's played there before. If we get an offer for a player who has a certain amount of time on his contract we will have to give it a look.'

Parish echoes that the fee would have to be appropriate as obviously if we are going to be tempted into letting our best players go, we will need to use that money to do the best job we can at replacing them so the club doesn't suffer.
