Freedman Confirms Garvan Interest

Dougie Freedman has confirmed that he has received an enquiry from Brighton for midfielder Owen Garvan, but that he's reluctant to let him go.

Speaking to the South London Press the gaffer confirmed their earlier story of a 250,000 bid and said.

'Brighton have enquired about Owen but I'm reluctant to let him go because he is such a good player. I'm sure if he comes back and gets his head down that his quality will shine through.'

Freedman adds the only question mark is whether his quality will shine through at Selhurst or another ground, and on that issue only time will tell.
