Barrett Deals Collapse

Adam Barrett's proposed moves to either Notts County or Bournemouth have collapsed and the player has returned to training at Palace.

It appears personal terms couldn't be agreed with Bournemouth and it sounds like a fee couldn't be reached with Notts County but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Speaking to the South London Press Freedman said.

'Adam is a valued member of the squad but didn't play as many games as he would've liked.'

Barrett has maintained all along he just wants to play, but obviously that's a guarantee Freedman can't give hence the acceptance to listen to offers for him.

Whilst he's back there's no doubt he'll put the effort in and try and convince Dougie he has a part to play at the club, but nothing stops either club from coming back in again with improvement terms.
