Price Too Rich For Gould

Dougie Freedman has decided against signing Morgan Gould due to the fee requested by Supersport.

Speaking to Croydon Today erm tonight, Freedman said.

'Morgan did very well but a the price they were after I just felt he wasn't quite right for us. We're working to a very tight budgettt and at that price he would have had to go straight into the team and I'm not sure he was quite ready for that.'

It's believed that Gould's club, Supersport, were demanding in the region of 500,000 for the 28 year old.

I fully expected us to take him on, so I am surprised, but Dougie's being very sensible with the money he has available and we aren't in the position to take too many risks with the finances.
