Duo In Race For Fitness

Kagisho Dikgacoi and Mile Jedinak are still struggling for fitness ahead of the league kick off.

Dikgacoi only has a hamstring tweak but it's continuing to cause him concern. Freedman is hopeful he will get some pitch time against Bournemouth, but Dougie's original plan of playing them both against Bournemouth in now increasingly unlikely.

Jedinak hasn't yet received his work permit apparently, and hasn't done enough pre season training yet so his fitness remains a concern.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Freedman said.

'KG might sneak on the pitch but it will be touch and go. If not, hopefully he'll be training with us next weel. You can never say never, but it looks like he'll be struggling for the Peterborough match.'

Dougie added on Jedinak.

'I'm hoping Mile will be ok for the game at Bournemouth, but again it will be touch and go. He's been in New York waiting to receive his work permit. It's not perfect, he's not training a lot so we'll have to be careful.'

In other other injury news.

Iversen is believed to be about 2-3 weeks off a return, but new signing Jonathan Parr is expected to make his debut against Bournemouth.
