Dougie's Decree: A Real Credit To The Lads

Dougie's Decree: A Real Credit To The Lads

Dougie Freedman was absolutely delighted to see the Eagles come from behind to take all 3 points against Coventry.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC the boss said.

'It was good, it was a pleasing result. I thought we kept going until the end, we showed fantastic energy and desire. It was a real credit to the lads, the character was there to see.'

After a great performance from Wilfried Zaha, Dougie knows it's only a matter of time in his eyes before clubs come calling, and he's looking to hold onto him for as long as he can.

'It's not for me to say come and get him, people will come and get him, it's a matter of holding on to the top talent as long as we can.'

3 points against Coventry have given us our best start to a campaign for 5 seasons, and Freedman clearly hopes that continues.

'What we are trying to do is get ourselves some points on the board and see these players playing in a different manner. This year will be different and we will take the game to some teams.'
