Hard Work Is The Wright Way Forward

David Wright believes that this seasons successful start to the league campaign is due to the hard work that the players have put in during preseason.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Wright said the reason for our start to the campaign was 'simples'.

'We've been working hard on the training ground, we worked hard in preseason and we are working hard for each other out on the pitch. The effort the lads and the management team have put in has paid off so far and we are determined to keep that run going.'

Wright also revealed that Freedman has spoken to him and confirmed that he sees him more as a defensive central midfielder now, despite originally being brought as a fullback.

'I came back not knowing whether it would be right back or midfield I'd be playing, but the gaffer had a word and said he sees me as more of a midfielder now.'
