Freedman Grateful For Break

Dougie Freedman has said that the timing of the international break was perfect for us as it allowed the players to rest and enjoy our best start to a season in 5 years.

Speaking to Newshopper Dougie revealed his pleasure at the break.

'A break is always a welcome distraction because of how many games we play. We've had five or six games within the first few weeks and it is very physically demanding so although we are doing well, the break is a welcome one.'

Freedman adds that he is happy with the squad he has now, and whilst he is looking to add to it he only wants to add the right quality, and in the final days of the transfer window that quality wasn't available.
