'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Garvan Looking Forward

Owen Garvan has said he is putting the past behind him as he focuses on remaining a first team choice under Dougie Freedman.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Garvan explained that last season, as well as turning his back on a move to Brighton, we're behind him and he's enjoying his new lease of life at Palace under Freedman, and to put it bluntly...long may it continue.

'It was a tough decision there's no denying that, I wasn't really playing last season and I'm in the game to be playing every week, that's my aim, wherever I am. So it was a big call to stay, but I'm happy that I did.'

Garvan adds that his aim is to keep impressing Dougie to show that he deserves his place in the team and should be one of the first name pencilled in.
