Dougie's Decree: We Left It Late

Dougie Freedman was delighted to see us come from behind against Brighton last night, even if we did leave it a little late.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the rather dramatic 3-1 victory, Freedman admitted he wasn't too pleased with how we started the game, but he thought we were fantastic in the second half.

'We left it late to score the goals, I felt we didn't start very well for the first 15 minutes. After that we started to play well and in the second half we were in control. It was fantastic for the fans, they have been through a lot the last couple of years.'

Freedman was also delighted with the impact of the substitutions, and with Jonathan Parr's and Jon Williams' contributions.

'I was delighted with Parr's impact. He is a young lad from Norway and he will take time to gel. He did well when he came on. I think him and Scannell changed the game and helped others to raise their game as well.'

And for Williams.

'He is a good player and good players won't be fazed. He is 17 years of age and I mean it when I say if you are good enough you can play. If you're a good player, you will play for me.'

A good night of football by all accounts!
