'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zaha's Time Will Come

Dougie Freedman has said he isn't surprised to see Wilfried Zaha overlooked for the U21 and U19 England squads this time round because of his age, but he's sure his time will come.

Speaking to the Croydon Guardian Dougie believes that Zaha will benefit more from having a little break from football at this point, rather than increasing his experience with international games...but obviously if he keeps developing and working hard, and keeps getting his name in the papers on the back of performances, it will only be a matter of time before he becomes a regular at the various levels.

'I am not at all surprised he isn't in a squad - he is only 18. It is good for him to have a break though, physically it has been very demanding for him.'
