'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Murray Pleased With Response After Donny Dip

Glenn Murray was pleased with the response of the team, taking 3 points from Brighton and a point from West Ham, following our loss to Doncaster and he was delighted to get on the scoresheet for both.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Murray admitted he was even more pleased because both of his strikes came from outside the box.

'It's been a big few days, I thought it was an entertaining game, a tough game and I thought we did well to come out with a point. If we could've got the three points it would have been perfect, but I think we got a response after the Doncaster defeat.'

On on his scoring boots...

'I normally get most of my goals from inside the box so it has been nice to get a couple from long range. I've been pleased with the way the last week has gone for me.'
