Scannell To Grow Into Striker Role

Dougie Freedman believes that Sean Scannell will develop into a potent main striker despite spending his formative years as more of a support player.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Freedman said that with more experience the 21 year old has all the natural talent required to find the net regularly and make a name for himself as a lead striker.

'He definitely has the natural abilities to be a really good striker and I see him as someone who'll go on to score alot of goals. I think within two or three years we'll start to see the best of him.'
