'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dorman Receives Rovers Shock After Loan

Andy Dorman has said he didn't realise he was dropping two divisions when he agreed to a loan spell at Bristol Rovers.

Speaking to the BBC Dorman admitted he thought the club were still in league 1, not league 2.

'If I'm being honest, I thought they were still in league one. But I've got that chance to move them up the table and I'm just looking forward to playing and doing well.'

Rovers' manager Paul Buckle said of the deal.

'He'll bring experience and stability to the midfield. It's always good to bring in a new face and we need it.'

Dorman joins the club until January 2, and will be available for their FA Cup first round tie this weekend.
