Dougie's Decree: Very Unlucky Against Leicester

Dougie's Decree: Very Unlucky Against Leicester

Dougie Freedman was left ruing our wasted chances against Leicester City, as he believes the result could've easily gone the other way.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the 3-0 loss, Freedman explained that at 1-0 he really thought our best chances in the game came and had we have taken them we could've easily come out as winners.

'At 1-0 we had our best chances come and were coping very well. We were unfortunate to lose this game but credit to Leicester, their two goals Paul Gallagher scored are top class. I can take positives in defeat today, I am sure things will turn around.'

Freedman was also asked the question about our lack of goals in recent games, but our scoring touch isn't a concern for him as he believes we are still creating enough chances to win games, it's just one of those blips that all teams go through during a season. As long as we create the chances, he'll be happy.

'It would worry me if it was a lack of chances or a lack of creating opportunities - that would worry me. I just believe as long as we continue to play like that, we haven't got a problem.'
