Ambrose Hails Palace Spirit

Forgive me for hailing Ambrose's right boot! What a goal!!!

Darren Ambrose has hailed the spirit of the team when speaking to Sky Sports after the game tonight.

Even Sky describe his goal as a screamer, so who am I to argue! An absolute belter of an opener and then to grab the assist in Murray's extra time winner just tops off a great night for him personally - let alone us lot!

'We've got a great team spirit, we can beat anyone and we've shown that tonight. It's a great occasion, coming here against the Champions. We were confident and the spirit in the camp has been fantastic. You can hear the fans out there now, it's a massive occasion for them and we're all delighted.'

Showing a bit more sense than at least I am at the moment, Ambrose adds.

'We've got another big game on Friday against Derby and we'll just take every game as they come, it'll be a massive occasion in the semi final but the league comes first now.'

I'll think about the league tomorrow if you don't mind Daz, just make sure you enjoy your night!
