'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dougie Looks To January

Dougie Freedman has said he is hoping to add a couple of players in January, and not necessarily loan signings.

Speaking to the South London Press the boss said.

'I hope so. Because of the amount of games we've played I've had to rely on one or two youngsters and with a bit of luck I might get one or two in. I like to buy so I can make a player better and they benefit us more than just short term. We'll have to see whether I get that opportunity.'

With the extended cup run and the money that will generate, as Freedman has said previously hopefully it'll enable us to keep our better players and then if there's some spare to improve the squad even more, that's even better for us long term.
