Clyne Pleased With Reports

Nathaniel Clyne has said that he is pleased with the recent speculation linking him with a move away because it shows how well he and Palace are doing.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the most recent speculation indicated Manchester United were interested in him, he said.

'I am delighted. It shows I am getting credited for my good performances, I have just got to focus on my game and keep working hard and whatever happens, happens.'

Admittedly I think this is a good indication that he won't be at Selhurst past January, as if he was likely to extend his contract I think he would've done by now, but at least we should get a decent price for him and it'll help take the pressure of Dougie in terms of entertaining any other departures.
