'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dougie's Decree: We Didn't Create Enough

Dougie Freedman has said he thought that we played well today but we just didn't create enough chances.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the 2-1 loss, the gaffer said.

'It's not all about dominating possession, you have to create chances and we didn't quite do that today but I felt the performance was outstanding.'

In other matters, Freedman admitted he is a little concerned with the virus doing the rounds at the club at the minute with the latest casualty being Paddy McCarthy.

'Paddy has the same virus that Julian has got so unfortunately had to miss the game. It's two phonecalls I've had within 48 hours, so we've got the doctor on call.'
