'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gardner Confident Of Final Progress

Anthony Gardner has said he is confident that Palace can finish the job when we travel to Cardiff in the second leg of the Carling Cup Semi Final.

Speaking to Sky Sports following the 1-0 win, Gardner said.

'It was a good team performance, it was intense. Both teams came to win the game and it was a good cup tie. We'll get ready for the second leg now and hopefully we can go there and get a win. There's no reason why we can't.'

Perfect start for the first leg, pressure is on Cardiff to balance it up so if we can take an early lead the night could be reasonably comfortable for us.
