Parish - No Battle To Keep Players
Steve Parish has a different take on the speculation linking players with a move away from the club as he denies we are in a battle to keep anybody.
Speaking to Croydon Today Parish talked generally about the transfer speculation surrounding the club.
'I read in the papers this week that we are in a battle to keep our best players. We are not in a battle at all. They are our players and it's up to us if we want to sell them. It's totally our decision and we won't be forced into anything that we don't want to do.'
Parish adds that at the moment the club are not in negotiations with any club over a potentially departing player and even though he accepts that every player has a price, it will have to be that price that is met so it remains in the best interests of Palace for that player to leave.
