Parish Delighted With Second Zaha Bid

Parish Delighted With Second Zaha Bid

Steve Parish was delighted to see Bolton's second offer for Wilfried Zaha, because he didn't have to make a decision on it.

Speaking to Talksport he said.

'We have had a bid from Bolton that isn't worth talking about and no one is going anywhere. I think that after the financial problems the club has been in in the past, many people seem to think they can kick us in the nuts. It's not where we are as a club now.'

Parish is obviously delighted with how things have gone this window, as he adds.

'As for the figure of £7m - I don't know where they got that from. I'm very happy, no-one has given us a decision to make so it's brilliant, exactly where we want to be.'

Parish also confirmed that Nathaniel Clyne will not be leaving today despite the speculation and his contractual situation.

'He will still be here, and we will see what happens after that.'
