Parish Responds To Transfer Window

Parish Responds To Transfer Window

Steve Parish has held a mini Q&A with the clubs website and he offers his thoughts on our transfer window business.

The full transcript can be read on Crystal Palace FC but here are a few highlights.

On keeping the squad together, not selling the youngsters and extending a few loans he said.

'We're pleased with how the day's panned out. We've added to the squad with a promising non league goalscorer that we think is a really good prospect. We've managed to keep hold of all our top stars and I think we've laid down a marker that we're not a club that needs to sell. All in all it's been a pretty successful transfer window.'

On Clyne, Zaha and the media speculation.

'No, there's been nothing in this window. It's been well documented that we've had bids but nothing that's even got our attention. None of us have really had a decision to make.'

Parish also talks about further plans to strengthen the squad with the loan window and again, rightly, is full of praise for Dougie and his approach to growing and improving the club.
