Palace Development Key For Chambers

New signing Michael Chambers has said Palace's record at developing youngsters was key to his decision to join the club.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Chambers admitted he was delighted to have made the step up from Dulwich Hamlet, but he knows he has to kick on and develop more to catch Dougie's eye.

'Palace over the years have brought a lot of players through the youth team, so I thought this was the right club for me to develop and push on in my football career.'

Chambers will link up with some previous school mates in the Academy so he should fit right in, but he added on our history of developing youngsters.

'I think that had a big, big impact on me joining Palace.'
